Krypton Fund Services Holdings Ltd (“Krypton” or the “Company”), a newly-formed boutique fund administrator, today announced the establishment and launch of its global business platform to the alternative funds space from Bermuda.

Krypton will be led by its CEO Mr. Roderick White who has operated since 2005 from Bermuda working previously for Equinoxe Alternative Investment Fund Services (Bermuda) Ltd. and JP Morgan Hedge Fund Services (Bermuda) Ltd. Krypton plans on making several hires over the next year building out its product offering to the Bermuda and the wider Global market. “Bermuda being a world class offshore jurisdiction and a market innovator in new asset classes made the decision easy for determination of the Company’s global headquarters”, explained CEO Roderick White.

The Company’s local operating subsidiary Krypton Fund Services (Bermuda) Ltd is Licensed by the Bermuda Monetary Authority under the Investment Funds Act 2006. “Krypton is looking forward to working with the Bermuda Monetary Authority which is a world-respected regulatory body and adds credibility to the Company” said Mr. White. Further explaining the reasons for selecting Bermuda Mr. White added “It is a competitive advantage having access to the Island’s excellent network of world class professionals who have many years of providing solutions to investment managers globally including many of the world’s biggest institutions”.

The island will provide a strategic base for the firm for servicing Bermuda based funds and as well establish a platform for servicing clients globally including North American based clients, White explained. “Global routes to UK, Canada and US provide the required network for the Company to operate from Bermuda efficiently and provide clients with ease of travel to meet with their services providers” said Mr. White.
